casual dining
Objective:
Re-invent casual dining.
On the 2nd day of school, all the classes went down to the area in Millbrae where there are many places to eat. We went to three didfferent restaurants to observe the surroundings, then we made interpretations of what the observations might mean in terms of how comfortable or appealing the setting is fro the customer.
Observations:
- In a lot of the places I went to there was not napkins or utensils ready to use.
- A sushi place had a very good scent to it but the whole restaurant was painted in a dark colour which didn't give a warm and inviting touch to it.
- One place had the menu on the window so people could see the food served there before going inside. This is a good idea because someone might not know what they want, so seeing what is served can give the person an idea if they want to eat there or not.
